Christmas can be a joyous time spent with the people you love. If so, awesome, cherish every moment. It is not so for everybody; it can also be a reminder of relationship struggles we may have or of the people we love who are no longer with us.
I would just like to wish everyone a Wonderful Christmas, no matter what you are up to this year. For anyone finding this time of year difficult, I extend much love and special prayers to you. You are loved and your time will come.
I would ask that you do not fuel any stories your ego might try and spin or that someone in your life makes you feel that you are not enough or that you don’t matter or that you do not deserve more. I’m sure family members do not mean to inflict pain but our ego tends to make the whole situation worse. This is a lie to keep you small. The ego mistakenly thinks it is trying to protect you, it doesn't understand that it is actually causing you harm.
You are more than enough, just the way you are. Find some small way to acknowledge yourself today and everyday. Make sure you set some time for yourself doing whatever it is that makes you feel good. We all buy into this consumerism b......t, which leads to nothing but stress and spending more than is necessary. I have been aware of this madness for quite some time but I just can’t seem to get off the Merry-Go-Round. I trust I will come up with a wonderful solution next year.
It is probably a good idea at this time of year to put in some extra time grounding yourself. Whatever it is that you do that makes you feel yourself, do more of it.
Like me, if you don’t get it right, don’t sweat it, there is always next year. Take care and have yourself a Merry Christmas.
